Tracking Visitor Actions To Achieve Desired Behavior
Visitors Tell You Want They Want
The beauty of the web is every mouse click is a trackable event. Visitors are telling you what they like and dislike of your persuasive/buying cycle.
Know The Triggers to Their Buying Decision
Learn your customer and each segment (personna) in your market. Why do they act and buy as they do? What is it that triggers their buying decision?
Do they buy based on price? Are they more motivated to purchase based on quality, impeccable service, brand name, social status?
You Will Eventually Predict Visitor Behavior
If visitors are not behaving as you thought they should, find out why by tracking and measuring activity. Make course-corrections and refinements and track again. Repeat this process several times and watch your conversion rates climb.
